乳突傍突起；乳様傍突起Paramastoid process(Processus paramastoideus)

乳突傍突起；乳様傍突起【にゅうとつぼうとっき；にゅうようぼうとっき】 Projection that is occasionally found on the jugular process. It is directed toward the transverse process of the atlas.(後頭窩の後側にある顆窩の外側、すなわち頚静脈突起の下面の粗な隆起は外側頭直筋の付着部であるが、これが特に突出して乳突傍突起をつくることがあり、時には大きくなって環椎横突起と関節する。)
