頚動脈三角Carotid triangle(Trigonum caroticum)

頚動脈三角【けいどうみゃくさんかく】 Triangular region bounded by the sternocleidomastoid muscle, the posterior belly of the digastric muscle, and the superior belly of the omohyoid muscle.(頚動脈三角は顎下三角の下方で舌骨（あるいは甲状軟骨上縁）の高さで、気管の両側にある長い三角形状のくぼみである。その中央辺は総頚動脈が甲状軟骨の上縁の高さで内、外頚動脈に分岐する位置に相当し（頚動脈分岐部）、強い拍動がふれられる。頚動脈はさらに上甲状腺動脈・上行咽頭動脈・舌動脈・顔面動脈に分岐する。)
