翼突切痕Pterygoid notch(Incisura pterygoidea)

翼突切痕【よくとつせっこん】 Notch located between the lateral and medial plates of the pterygoid process. It is open inferiorly and lodges the pyramidal process of the palatine bone.(翼状突起の内側板と外側板とはその下部では離れて翼突切痕をはさむ。ここには口蓋骨の錐体突起がはまりこんでこれを補う。)
