縦束Longitudinal bands(Fasciculi longitudinales ligamentum cruciformis atlantis)

縦束【じゅうそく】 Fibrous bands that extend from the body of the axis to the anterior margin of the foramen magnum. They pass posteriorly to the dens and the apical ligament of the dens.(縦束は環椎横靱帯の中部から上下に延び、上方は大後頭孔前縁に、下方は軸椎の椎体後面に着く。)
