笑筋Risorius muscle(Musculus risorius)

Santorini's muscles笑筋【しょうきん】 Bundle of muscle fibers that are occasionally present, extending from the parotid fascia and skin of the cheek to the angle of the mouth. I: Facial nerve.(笑筋は、非常に繊細で変化に富む筋束であり、耳下腺筋膜および頬部皮膚から口角まで殆ど水平方向に走る。笑筋は頬の“笑窪”をつくり、しかも口裂を幅広くする。)
