深部（咬筋の）Deep part of masseter(Pars profunda Musculusmasseterica)

深部（咬筋の）【しんぶ（こうきんの）】 Varies in structure. o: Zygomatic arch, disco-capsular system, and sometimes temporal fascia, i: Ramus of mandible. Together with fibers from the temporal muscle coming from anterosuperior, it ensures lateral stabilization of the disco-capsular system during laterotrusion, thus preventing impingement of the disco-capsular system on the balancing side. It can be replaced with parotid or masseteric fascia.(咬筋の深部は頬骨弓の後２／３の下縁から起こり、前下方へ斜めに走り下顎角外面の咬筋粗面につく。)
