縦隔の上部;上縦隔Superior mediastinum(Mediastinum superius)

縦隔の上部;上縦隔【じゅうかくのじょうぶ；じょうじゅうかく】 Part located above the heart and in the horizontal plane of the sternal angle. It is a structure that gives passage, e.g., to the aortic arch and its branches as well as brachiocephalic veins, superior vena cava, trachea, esophagus, vagus nerves, and thoracic duct.(胸骨角平面より上の縦隔部分。前から胸腺・上大静脈・大動脈弓・気管・食道・胸管が並び、左右の横隔神経や迷走神経が通過する。このように、縦隔上部には多くの重要な期間があるため、胸郭内の腫瘍などの影響を受けやすく、臨床的にも重要である。なお、縦隔下部との境に上大静脈に注ぐ奇静脈のアーチがあり、右気管支のすぐ上に位置する。(イラスト解剖学))
