Ferrein's pyramids髄放線（腎臓の）【ずいほうせん（じんぞうの）】 Medullary components that radiate in bandlike fashion into the renal cortex but do not extend to the capsule. They contain mainly straight parts of the renal tubules and cortical collecting ducts.
