粘膜（尿道海綿体の）【ねんまく（にょうどうかいめんたいの）】 The mucous membrane contains the veins of the cavernous body. Nonkeratinized stratified epithelium begins at the navicular fossa; keratinized epithelium begins at the external urethral orifice.(粘膜とは、体内の器官を被う面のうちで、体の外表につながるような面に対して与えられる名称である。そのような粘膜は、上皮epitheliumとこれを直下で支える結合組織（固有層と称する）との２つの基本要素からなる。固有層を作る結合組織の中には、ときに平滑筋層が存在するが、そのさいにはこの平滑筋層のことを粘膜筋板とよぶ。粘膜が表面に粘液を分泌する場合としない場合とがある。)
