外側枝；回旋橋枝（橋動脈の）Lateral branches of pontine arteries; Circumferential pontine branches of pontine arteries(Rami laterales arteria pontis)

外側枝；回旋橋枝（橋動脈の）【がいそくし；かいせんきょうし（きょうどうみゃくの）】 Branches arising from the lateral side of the basilar artery and supplying the nuclei of cranial nerves V, VI, VII, and VIII.(橋動脈の外側枝は橋の前面を外側方向に走り、前下小脳動脈の小さな枝と吻合する。この橋動脈の外側枝は、橋被蓋の大部分に分布するほか、中小脳脚の外側部分にも分布する。橋被蓋の尾側部位には橋動脈の外側枝と前下小脳動脈との枝が分布し、橋被蓋の吻側部位には橋動脈の外側枝と上昇脳動脈の枝が分布する。これらの動脈の枝が分布する領域には、毛様体、内側毛帯、内側縦束、脊髄視床路、脊髄症の迂路、中小脳脚、上小脳脚、橋にある脳神経核などが存在する。)
