柔膜；広義の軟膜；脳軟膜；クモ膜と軟膜【じゅうまく；こうぎのなんまく；くもまくとなんまく】 Soft membrane investing the spinal cord and brain. It consists of two layers: the arachnoid mater and the vascularized pia mater.(クモ膜と軟膜との総称名。この対語として硬膜を脳硬髄膜pachymeninxとよぶことがある。クモ膜と軟膜はクモ膜下腔で隔てられているものの、クモ膜小柱で結びつけられており、神経が出入りするところや終糸のところでは両者は合体してしまう。)
