脊髄第V層Spinal lamina V(Lamina spinalis V)

脊髄第V層【せきずいだい５そう】 Layer forming the junction of the neck with the base. Its lateral and medial components are comprised of cells of various morphology. Its lateral portion is not clearly distinct from the reticular formation.(第Ⅴ層は後根からの求心性線維、第Ⅱ・Ⅲ・Ⅳ層の介在ニューロン、などからの神経信号を受ける。第Ⅴ層ニューロンから伸びる軸索突起群は、反対側を上行する温・痛覚と軽微（粗大）な触覚のための伝導路、すなわち脊髄視床路の主要成分をなす。皮質脊髄路、赤核脊髄路からの多くの下行性線維も第Ⅴ層に終わる。)
