視蓋脊髄路Tectospinal tract(Tractus tectospinalis)

視蓋脊髄路【しがいせきずいろ】 Efferent fibers arising in the superior colliculi that cross in the posterior tegmental decussation and travel within the longitudinal fasciculus, mostly to the propriospinal system of cervical segments 1-4. They coordinate eye and head movements.(視蓋脊髄路は主として中脳の上丘（第４および第６層）および一部は下丘から出て、すぐに背側被蓋交叉で交叉し、反対側の脳幹の正中部の知覚で内側縦束の腹側を下り（背前束）、脊髄では前索の前正中裂に近い部分を下行し、頚髄、ことに上位頚髄の前角の腹内側部から灰白質に入り、中間質外側部およびその付近に分布するが、直接に前角細胞に終わるものはない。これは視覚、一部は聴覚刺激に応じた頭部、上肢の反射的姿勢運動による。)
