弓状核（延髄の）Arcuate nucleus of medulla oblongata(Nucleus arcuatus)

弓状核（延髄の）【きゅうじょうかく（えんずいの）】 Group of cells lying anterior to the pyramidal surface. It gives rise to the anterior and posterior external arcuate fibers of the medulla and the medullary striae of fourth ventricle. (延髄の弓状核は錐体の腹側部に、大きさ、位置、高さがさまざまな小さい細胞集団により構成される。この核はしばしば上部で橋核と連続する。入力線維は大脳皮質に由来し、遠心性線維は外弓状線維となって小脳に投射する。弓状核からの線維の一部は延髄の正中線を背側に走って第四脳室髄条を形成して外側方に走り、下小脳脚を通って小脳に達する。)
