巨細胞性網様核Gigantocellular reticular nucleus(Nucleus gigantocellularis)

巨細胞性網様核【きょさいぼうせいもうようかく】 Nucleus extending from the anterior one-third of the medulla oblongata to the posterior half of the pons and as deep as the inferior olive or inferior pole of the motor nucleus of trigeminal nerve.(巨大細胞性網様核は下オリーブ核群の背側で、傍正中部の外側にある。この核はその名前が示すように、特徴的な大きい細胞から構成されるが、加えて、この領域には多数の中等大の細胞と小細胞が存在する。延髄網様体脊髄路の神経線維は脊髄のレベルへ両側性に投射し（交叉性と非交叉性）、主に側索の前部を下行する。)
