間質核；カハール間質核Interstitial nucleus(Nucleus interstitialis)

Cajal's interstial nucleus間質核；カハール間質核【かんしつかく；かはーるかんしつかく】 Nucleus situated lateral to the nucleus of oculomotor nerve and separated from it by the medial longitudinal fasciculus. It receives projections from the globus pallidus, vestibular nuclei, and superior colliculus.(間質核は内側縦束の傍らにあり、比較的大きい多極性の細胞からなる。この核から出る線維は後交連を通って正中線で交叉し、動眼神経核、滑車神経核、前庭神経内側核などとシナプス結合する。これらの線維が障害されると垂直方向の眼球麻痺が起こる。)
