室傍核（視床下部の）；視床下部室傍核【しつぼうかく（ししょうかぶの）；ししょうかぶしつぼうかく】 Patch of cells lying medial to the anterior hypothalamic nucleus at the level of the column of fornix. Its neurosecretory material (e.g., vasopressin, oxytocin) is transported to the posterior lobe of pituitary gland, and its neuropeptidergic cells connect to those of the supra-optic nucleus.(内側視床下野の吻側レベルでその背側部にある。視索上核とともに代表的な神経分泌核であり、室傍核下垂体路の起始核である。室傍核の細胞は第三脳室の上衣細胞層の直下にあり、細胞が密に集まって垂直な灰白質板を形成するが、その背側部は脳弓方向へと外側に伸びている。室傍核はいくつかの明瞭な細胞群で構成されていて、その細胞群の間には、内側部の主に小形の細胞群と顕著な外側の大型細胞群が存在する。)
