背内側核（中間視床下部の）；視床下部背内側核【はいないそくかく（ちゅうかんししょうかぶの）；ししょうかぶはいないそくかく】 Nucleus lying closer to the skull vertex than the ventromedial nucleus. It is involved in controlling regulatory hormones for the anterior lobe of pituitary gland. It influences the activity of motor neurons of the spinal cord via the reticular formation.(視床下部背内側核は視床下部腹内側核の背内側方にあり、第三脳室の上衣細胞層と境を接している。この核と上衣細胞のあいだにはグリア線維の層がある。この核は外側方では脳弓周囲核と癒合する。)
