嗅腺；ボウマン腺Olfactory glands(Glandulae olfactoriae)

Bowman's glands嗅腺；ボウマン腺【きゅうせん；ぼうまんせん】 Small, branched tubular glands. The discharge of these cleansing glands presumably binds odorants.(ボーマン腺とも呼ばれる単一または分枝間状腺である。漿液細胞と粘液細胞とから成り、漿液性分泌液はにおい物質を洗い流すという意味から洗浄腺の名もある。腺細胞にはライソゾームやリポフスチン顆粒が多くあり、嗅部が呼吸部に比し黄色を帯びる原因になっている。)
