眼窩隔膜；眼窩中隔Orbital septum (Septum orbitale)

眼窩隔膜【がんかかくまく】 Sheet of connective tissue that is partly reinforced by tendons. It extends from the orbital margin beneath the orbicularis oculi to the outer margins of the tarsi and closes off the orbital cavity anteriorly.(眼窩隔膜は眼窩の中の脂肪が前へ飛び出してくるのを防ぐ結合組織性の仕切りである。顔面骨膜と眼窩骨膜から線維を受け、眼窩口をせばめるとともに眼窩縁と上・下瞼板を結合している弁状の線維組織。とくに内眼角と外眼角でこれが発達し、内側、外側眼瞼靱帯という。前者は涙嚢を固定している。眼窩を経て顔面や頭皮へ向かう脈管神経は眼窩隔膜を貫く。)
