斜台Clivus(Clivus)

Blumenbach, Clivus of斜台【しゃだい】 Bony structure that slopes downward from the dorsum sellae to the foramen magnum. It is formed by the occipital bone and the sphenoid.(後頭蓋窩の正中部では中頭蓋窩の後端である鞍背から後方に大後頭孔まで「すべり台」のような急な斜面がある。これが斜台で、その上半は蝶形骨、下半は後頭骨からなる（その境界は骨が癒合しているのでわからない）。)
