蓋膜（環軸関節の）Tectorial membrane of atlanto-axial joint(Membrana tectoria)

蓋膜（環軸関節の）【がいまく（かんじくかんせつの）】 Double-layered continuation of the posterior longitudinal ligament. It extends from the axis to the anterior margin of the foramen magnum where it passes into the periosteal layer of the cranial dura mater.(蓋膜は後縦靱帯の上部がつくる幅広い膜で、環椎十字靱帯を後から被い、大後頭孔前縁を越えて斜台に至り、後縦靱帯を後方から被う脳硬膜と共に骨に着く。Fickなど記述では、蓋膜は後縦靱帯上部の特に深層を指し、その線維は表層の後縦靱帯に比較して短く、下端は第２～３頚椎体に終わるとしている。蓋膜とは硬膜上腔の蓋をする膜という意味である。Tectoriaはtectum（蓋、屋根）の形容詞。)
