関節内胸肋靱帯Intra-articular sternocostal ligament(Ligamentum sternocostale intraarticulae)

関節内胸肋靱帯【かんせつないきょうろくじんたい】 Ligament contained in the articular cavity between the costal cartilage and the sternum. It is especially pronounced on the second rib.(第２～７肋軟骨と胸骨との胸肋関節は固い関節包につつまれ、原則として関節内胸肋靱帯があって関節腔を上下に２分する。しかし、この状態は第２関節にのみ終生存続し、下位ほどまれになる。すなわち、年令の増加に伴い、下位のもの、特に第６，７関節では関節腔も消失することが多い。)
