手根管Carpal tunnel(Canalis carpi)

手根管【しゅこんかん】 Canal on the palmar aspect between the tubercles of the scaphoid and the trapezium on one side and the pisiform and the hook of hamate on the other. It is bridged by the flexor retinaculum.(手根骨の掌側面における深い溝（手根溝）が、橈側手根隆起と尺側手根隆起の間に張る屈筋支帯との間につくる管で、この管の中を正中神経のほか、前腕から指にのびる浅および深指屈筋、および個々の手根骨間の関節が含まれる。また手根中央関節と同義語に用いられることもある。)
