赤体Corpus rubrum(Corpus rubrum)
赤体【せきたい】 Remains of the follicle consisting of follicular epithelial cells and theca folliculi with bleeding after ovulation. It develops into the corpus luteum.(排卵後の卵巣内に残された卵胞腔は崩壊し、一次周辺の毛細血管からの出血によって内腔がみたされて赤体となるが、血液はやがて吸収されて、ここに黄体細胞が増殖して黄体が形成される。（分担IIp274）)
