前外側中心動脈；前外側視床線条体動脈；レンズ核線条体動脈；外側線条体動脈【ぜんがいそくちゅうしんどうみゃく；ぜんがいそくししょうせんじょうたいどうみゃく；れんずかくせんじょうたいどうみゃく；がいそくせんじょうたいどうみゃく】 Central branches passing to the basal ganglia. They penetrate laterally through the anterior perforated substance, curve upward, and fan out anteroposteriorly within the cerebrum to the internal capsule region. They supply the putamen, globus pallidus, lateral and dorsal parts of the head of caudate nucleus, claustrum, and internal capsule (except for its posterior limb). 「Classic」 cases of stroke involve these regions, with resulting damage often affecting the entire opposite side of the body.(前外側中心動脈は、一般には外側線条体動脈と呼ばれ、主に中大脳動脈の近位部から分岐する。内側線条体動脈は、前大脳動脈から分岐するが、この前外側中心動脈にいれられている。前外側中心動脈は前有孔質に入り、線条体と内包の領域に分布する。前大脳動脈から出る内側線条体動脈は尾状核頭の前腹側部およびこれに近接した被殻と内包の部分に分布する。中大脳動脈から分布する外側線条体動脈は被殻の尾側端と尾状核尾を除く、線条体の残りの部分（すなわち、尾状核と被殻）に分布する。またこれらの動脈は淡蒼球の外側領域、内包の前脚、内包の後脚の背側部などにも分布する。)
