中心管（脊髄の）Central canal of spinal cord(Canalis centralis (Medullae spinalis))

中心管（脊髄の）【ちゅうしんかん（せきずいの）】 Remnant of embryonic neural tube lumen. It extends, partially obliterated, from the end of the rhomboid fossa to the terminal filum.(腔壁は上衣によって裏打ちされた神経管の管腔で、その脳部は残存して脳室を形成する。腔所は脳脊髄液でみがされる。脊髄の第四脳室にはじまり、脊髄全長を貫いて、脊髄円錐の尾端で終室となっておわる、きわめて細長い管腔をいう。成人脊髄では中心管は所々でつぶれていることが多い。)
