中間質外側部；中間質外側核【ちゅうかんしつがいそくぶ；ちゅうかんしつがいそくかく】 Gray substance between the anterior and posterior columns. In the thoracic region of the spinal cord it contains the lateral column.(中間質外側核は、胸髄および上部腰髄（Ｔ１からＬ２ないしＬ３まで）の側角の先端部分にある神経細胞柱である。この核の神経細胞は紡錘形で、交感神経性の節前線維を出している。その交感神経線維は前根より出て白交通枝を経て、いくつもの交感神経節に到達する。)
