内側視床枕核；視床枕内側部Medial pulvinar nucleus(Nucleus pulvinaris medialis)

内側視床枕核；視床枕内側部【ないそくししょうちんかく；ししょうちんないそくかく】 Nucleus lying caudal and directly adjacent to the medial nuclei of thalamus. It has connections to the prefrontal, parietal, and cingulate cortices and receives afferent projections from the superior colliculus.(ラテン語を直訳すると内側視床枕核となるが、視床枕を前に出し、視床枕内側核も併記した。視床枕内側核は上側頭回、上側頭溝の背側壁、および側頭極(temporal pole)に投射する。視床遅延核内側核のこれとは別のニューロン群からは前頭眼野と辺縁系皮質への投射が起こる。)
