Betz' cells内錐体層；神経節細胞層［第V層］（等皮質の）【ないすいたいそう［だい５そう］（とうひしつの）】 Layer containing large pyramidal cells. It gives rise to the corticospinal tract in the corresponding region of areas 4 and 6.(内錐体層には大型ないしは中等大の錐体細胞がある。錐体細胞の中には、星状細胞とマルチノッチ細胞がみられる。さらに、この層には内バイラルジア線条を形成する多数の線維が水平に走っている。中心前回の運動野では、この層の錐体細胞はきわめて大きく、ベッツ細胞と呼ばれる。ベッツ細胞の軸索は、皮質脊髄路または錐体路の線維の約3%を占める。)
