嗅結節Olfactory tubercle(Tuberculum olfactorium)

嗅結節【きゅうけっせつ】 Elevation of the anterior part of the anterior perforated substance. It consists of portions of the striatum and pallidum.(嗅結節は大脳半球の底部で、２つに分かれた内側および外側嗅条の間にあり、前有孔質の前内側部にある小さな卵円形の部位。Callejaの島を特徴とする不等皮質の小部より構成される。霊長類を除く哺乳類（特に齧歯類や食虫類）の高度に発達した構造によれば、嗅結節は中間嗅条により嗅球から線維を受ける。嗅結節は、視床下部や視床内背側核と遠心性線維連絡を有する。)
