脳神経Cranial nerves(Nervi craniales)

脳神経【のうしんけい】 With the exception of CN IV, these 12 pairs of nerves emerge at the base of the brain, exiting the cranium through the skull base. Distribution area: head, neck, and also the thoracic and abdominal cavities via the vagus nerve.(脊柱を出入りする脊髄神経に対して頭蓋底をでる末梢神経を脳神経とよぶ。嗅神経［CN I］、視神経［CN II］、動眼神経［CN III］、滑車神経［CN IV］、三叉神経［CN V］、外転神経［CN VI］、顔面神経［CN VII］、内耳神経［CN VIII］、舌咽神経［CN IX］、迷走神経［CN X］、副神経［CN XI］、舌下神経［CN XII］の１２対の他に、最近ではCN 0の終神経を含むことがある。CN 0はヒトで確認することは難しい。)
