上根（頚神経ワナの）；下行枝（舌下神経の）【じょうこん（けいしんけいわなの）；かこうし（ぜっかしんけいの）】 Root lying for a short distance on the hypoglossal nerve, then descending along the medial side of the internal jugular vein and passing into the inferior root.(頚神経ワナの上根は第一・第二頚神経から発する神経線維で、舌下神経と伴行した後、分枝して頚神経ワナの中で下根とつながる。舌骨下筋群を支配する。)
