涙腺Lacrimal gland(Glandula lacrimalis)

涙腺【るいせん】 Gland located above the lateral angle of eye. It is divided by the tendon of the levator palpebrae into an upper and lower portion. Its excretory ducts open laterally in the superior conjunctival fornix.(涙腺は眼窩上壁の前外側部に存在する扁平な小指頭大の線で、６～１２本の導管によって上結膜円蓋の外側部に開口する。腺は漿液性の管状胞腺で、分泌部は比較的広い腺腔を囲む１層の円柱上皮よりなる。導線ははじめ単層立方上皮、太くなると２層の円柱上皮よりなる。涙腺には線条導管や介在導管はみられない。)
