アブミ骨筋Stapedius muscle(Musculus stapedius)

アブミ骨筋【あぶみこつきん】 Muscle arising in a bony canal in the posterior wall of the tympanic cavity. It emerges at the tip of the pyramidal eminentia and attaches to the head of stapes. It tilts the base of stapes, dampening its vibrations. I: Nerve to stapedius, given off by the facial nerve.(アブミ骨筋は耳小骨筋の１つ。鼓室後壁の管中で起こり、錐体隆起の尖端よりあらわれアブミ骨頭へ停止する。アブミ骨につくことにより振動の減弱ををおこなう。発生学的には、アブミ骨筋は顎二腹筋の後腹から分かれた物で、哺乳類だけに存在する。)
