椎間孔Intervertebral foramen(Foramen intervertebrale)

椎間孔【ついかんこう】 Opening between two adjacent vertebrae for the passage of a spinal nerve and small vessels. It is bounded by two adjacent vertebral notches (above and below), the vertebral bodies, and the intervertebral disc.(椎骨をその順位にしたがって連結すると、上の椎骨の下椎切痕と舌の椎骨の上椎切痕は互いに向き合って椎間孔を作る。椎間孔は脊柱管の中にある脊髄から出る脊髄神経の通路となる。椎弓根と椎弓板の移行部が合する椎弓の後端から１本の棘突起が出る。)
