島動脈Insular arteries(Arteriae insulares)

島動脈【とうどうみゃく】 Arteries arising from the insular part of middle cerebral artery, usually along with initial segments of the terminal branches. They pass to the insular cortex, extreme capsule, claustrum, external capsule, putamen, and the amygdaloid body.
