中間神経Intermediate nerve(Nervus intermedius)

Wrisberg, Nerve of中間神経【ちゅうかんしんけい】 Nonmotor portion of the facial nerve. It emerges from the brainstem between the facial and vestibulocochlear nerves and conveys autonomic and taste fibers. After various anastomoses, it merges with the facial nerve in the petrous part of the temporal bone.(中間神経は延髄背側部の網様体中に存在する上唾液核ニューロンの神経突起（末梢の翼口蓋神経節または顎下神経節に向かう）と顔面神経膝神経節に細胞体を有する知覚ニューロンの神経突起（中枢の孤束核に向かう）を含む神経である。後者の知覚ニューロンの樹状突起は極めて長い線維であって、鼓索神経内を通過し主に舌の前方約２／３の部分の粘膜に分布する。)
