載距突起Sustentaculum tali; Talar shelf(Sustentaculum tali)

載距突起【さいきょとっき】 Shelflike process located inferomedial to the middle talar articular surface. It supports the talus and bears most of its bulk.(中距骨関節面と前距骨関節面はともに距骨の前半部をのせ、載距突起という台状突起の上面をなしている。踵骨の前端には立方骨に対する関節面がある。)
