切歯Incisor tooth(Dentes incisivus)

切歯【せっし】 Teeth (four) on either side of the midline in the first and second positions in the dental arcade.(切歯は正中線の両側で、歯列弓の第一、二位に生えている歯。切歯ではノミ状の歯冠をもち、名前のように、ものをかみ切るのに適する形態とみなされる。上顎の切歯は下顎の切歯に比べて大きく、とくに上顎の第１切歯は最も大きい。歯冠は自由端がほぼ一直線をなしており、切縁と呼ばれている。)
