副腎；腎上体【ふくじん；じんじょうたい】 Gland arising from two components, resting like a ca. on the medial part of the superior pole of the kidney.(副腎は小形で、扁平な内分泌腺であり、腎臓の上極近くに位置する。哺乳類では、副腎は機能の異なる２種類の内分泌組織よりなり、発生学的には異なる由来のものである。下等動物の種によっては、これらの２要素は個別の内分泌腺として存在する。２種類の要素とは副腎皮質と副腎髄質である。)
