前庭神経；平衡神経（内耳神経の）【ぜんていしんけい；へいこうしんけい（ないじしんけいの）】 Collection of fibers of the vestibular apparatus that travel to the vestibular nuclei. Upper portion of the vestibulocochlear nerve.(前庭神経は内耳神経のうち前庭根より末梢の部分。内耳道底に前庭神経節を有するが、これはラセン神経節と同じく双極神経細胞からなり、この点は、前庭神経と蝸牛神経とは発生学的に相同であって偽単極性神経細胞からなる脊髄神経節とは異なる。)
