  　→(頭半棘筋の起始は上位６個の胸椎と第７頚椎の横突起、第４～６頚椎関節突起。停止は後頭骨の上下項線間の項平面。機能として脊柱の伸展、側方屈曲。頭、肋骨、骨盤の伸展。神経支配は第１～６頚椎。動脈は後肋間動脈の筋枝、後頭動脈の下行枝、肋頚動脈の深頚枝から受ける。頭半棘筋は頚部の板状筋に完全におおわれ頚最長筋と頭最長筋の内側にある。固有背筋の外側筋群を形成する筋原基から大部分形成される。それ故に、この筋は脊髄神経後枝の内側枝ばかりでなく、外側枝の支配も受ける。この筋は複合羽状型であり、不完全に狭い内側筋束と、線維質の外側筋束に分化し、両者とも中間腱を所有する（内側筋束はときどき２つ）。)

• 927_19【Trapezius muscle僧帽筋 Musculus trapezius】 Muscle that consists of three parts that act together to position the scapula and clavicle, draw both toward the vertebral column, and brace the shoulder girdle. I: Accessory nerve; brachial plexus C2-C4.
  　→(背部第１層にみられる扁平な菱形の筋で背部上半部を占める。僧帽筋は上肢の運動の時に肩甲骨を動かす重要な筋である。とくに上腕の外転のときに、肩甲骨を後内側に引くと同時に下角を外側に回し、関節窩が上外側を向くようにする。僧帽筋は下行部、横走部、上行部に分けられる。［臨床］僧帽筋の完全麻痺（副神経と上部腕神経の同時の傷害）の場合、肩は健側よりも深く位置するようになる項肩線は弓状を呈さず、乱れる。肩甲骨は正中線より、はるかに離され、関節窩は前下方を向く。肩は（肩甲挙筋の）弱いエネルギーにより持ち上げることが出来るにすぎず、わずかに（菱形筋により）後方にもたらされるにすぎない。腕の外側への挙上は大きく減少する。腕は通常水平面まで外転され得ない。腕の前方への挙上は（前鋸筋による肩甲骨の回転により）ほとんど制限さされないが、矢状面での挙上は強く妨げられる。副神経のみが傷害された場合、僧帽筋の下行部の機能は（上頚神経の付随的支配により）種々の程度に保存される。肩甲骨の位置の変化はそれほど著明ではない。しかし、腕を横または後へ挙上することは、ちょうどその程度に応じて制限される。)

• 927_25【Latissimus dorsi muscle広背筋 Musculus latissimus dorsi】 o: Spinous processes of T7-T12, thoracolumbar fascia, iliac crest, tenth through twelfth ribs, i: Crest of lesser tubercle of humerus. Retraction, medial rotation, adduction of the arm. I: Thoracodorsal nerve.
  　→(広背筋は背面に広く広がってる。これは下位６胸椎の棘突起とそれにともなう分節の棘上靱帯から、全腰椎の棘突起と仙骨から胸腰筋膜を介して、腸骨稜から、および第（９）１０～１２肋骨から起こり、しばしば肩甲骨下角からも起こる。筋線維は斜め上方にすすみ上腕骨における停止に向かって集まり、大円筋の周りで曲がって小結節稜に着く（下縁では大円筋の終止腱と一緒に成長するが、他の部分では滑液包で分けられている。）。一番頭側から起こる線維は骨稜の遠位部につき、肋骨から起こる線維束はもっとも近位に着く。上腕骨に近い筋の部分は、それゆえ、捻れている。この回転は上腕の挙上によって相殺される。これは上腕を挙上した場合、個々の筋の部分が極端に不均等に引っ張られるのを防ぐ。なぜなら挙上された上腕骨においては稜の遠位部がもっとも頭側に位置するからである。広背筋の前縁と大胸筋の外側縁との間には、結合組織の線維（線維性腋窩弓fibrous axillary arch）が弓状に走って両筋を結んでいるが、数％の頻度でここに筋線維束（筋性腋窩弓muscular axillary arch）がみられる。筋性腋窩弓の存在は、生体でも皮膚の上から認めることが出来る。この以上筋束を最初に記載したのはRamsay(1795)であるが、Langer(1846)の広汎な研究以来、ランゲル筋Langer's muscleと呼ばれるようになった。)

• 927_29【Gluteus maximus muscle大殿筋；大臀筋 Musculus gluteus maximus】 o: Ilium, behind the posterior gluteal line, sacrum, coccyx, thoracolumbar fascia, sacrotuberous ligament, i: Fascia lata, iliotibial tract, gluteal tuberosity, lateral femoral intermuscular septum, linea aspera. Extension, lateral rotation, abduction, and adduction at the hip joint. I: Inferior gluteal nerve.
  　→(大臀筋は大腿を伸展する主力筋で、とくに歩行の際重要である。中臀筋や小臀筋（小さな臀部の筋群）と同様、大きな臀部の筋である大臀筋も発生的には伸筋群である。仙骨と尾骨の辺縁、後臀筋線より後方の腸骨稜、胸腰筋膜、そして仙結節靭帯などから起始する。その厚い筋線維束は斜め下方へ走り、広い停止腱となる。その停止域は近位では大腿筋膜、腸脛靱帯に放散する。また、臀筋粗面よりも遠位で外側筋間中隔より上の粗線外側唇にも停止する。坐骨包坐骨結節と大臀筋下面の筋膜との間にある。慢性的刺激の結果として（機織工結節、抗夫結節）、臀部に敷物なしに座り仕事をする人々では同包に炎症が起こり、後大腿皮神経を圧迫する。大腿筋の停止腱は転子包によって大転子と離される。臀筋粗面では、大腿筋はふつう他の臀筋との間にあるいくつかの筋間包の上を滑走する。立位では大臀筋下部が坐骨結節をおおう。大腿を屈すると大臀筋下部は頭側に移動する。このため座位では坐骨結節は皮下脂肪上に位置し、皮膚を通して容易に触れる。臀溝はほぼ水平に走り、大臀筋収縮時には深くなるが、大臀筋の下縁をあらわしているわけではなく、同筋走行に対して鋭角的に交わる。)
