舌咽神経［脳神経IX］Glossopharyngeal nerve [IX](Nervus glossopharyngeus [IX])

舌咽神経［脳神経IX］【ぜついんしんけい［のうしんけい９］】 Nerve arising from the third pharyngeal arch. It emerges from the medulla oblongata via the retro-olivary groove, passes through the jugular foramen, and descends obliquely behind the stylopharyngeus. It supplies motor fibers innervating the constrictor muscles of the pharynx and stylopharyngeus; sensory fibers innervating the pharyngeal mucosa, tonsils, and posterior one-third of the tongue (taste fibers); and parasympathetic fibers via the tympanic nerve and lesser petrosal nerve to the otic ganglion.(舌咽神経は第九脳神経で以下の３つの主な神経線維束からなる。①咽頭筋層に分布する運動神経線維、②舌の後３分の１の味覚および咽頭粘膜に分布する知覚線維、③耳神経節におもむく副交感神経節前線維、などを含む。混合神経で知覚、運動、味覚の３種の神経線維を含む。その核は延髄中に存し、大部分迷走神経核と共通である。この神経は数根をもって延髄の後外側溝の最上部から出て硬膜に小枝を与えた後、迷走神経とともに頚静脈孔の前部に至り上神経節を作り、頚静脈孔を出て再び膨大して下神経節を作る。とともに脊髄神経節と同じ構造でそのなかの神経細胞が知覚神経線維の起始である。その後しばらく垂直に走り内頚静脈の間、つぎに内頚動脈と茎突咽頭筋の間を下り、この筋の外側を経て前方に曲がり、舌根に分布する。)
